Our vision

A society where every individual, regardless of background, has equal access to education, health, and economic opportunities.

Our story

Founded in 2015 by a group of social workers in Pune, Asha Welfare Foundation began with a single school for 50 children in a slum community. Today we reach over 10,000 beneficiaries across 12 branches in Maharashtra.

Solar Irrigation Transforms 500 Acres of Drought-Prone Farmland

Our solar irrigation project installed 45 solar pumps across 12 villages, transforming 500 acres of rain-dependent farmland into year-round cultivable land. Farmer incomes increased by an average of 180% in the first year.

1,200 Women Join Self-Help Groups and Access Microfinance

This year, 1,200 rural women joined our network of Self-Help Groups, collectively saving ₹45 lakhs and accessing ₹1.2 crore in microfinance loans to start small enterprises, purchase livestock, and invest in their children's education.
